Benefits include your organization's name and tagline displayed on each sponsored e-letter. Over 1,100 individuals, organizations, healthcare providers, and public health professionals subscribe.

Brief Overview of the Quit Now NC! Program:

  • Quit Now NC! staff present at workshops and conferences for healthcare professionals about resources available to them to help their patients quit tobacco.
  • Prevention Rx offers regional trainings and provides science-based tools and trainings for healthcare providers to ensure that nutrition, physical activity, and quitting tobacco are systematically addressed in patient care.
  • Second only to a tobacco-free worksite, a physician advising a patient is most effective in helping adults successfully quit. The Quit Now NC! staff conducts outreach and trainings to physicians and other healthcare providers to encourage the establishment of comprehensive, systematic tobacco cessation programs, like Prevention Rx.
  • The NC Good Health Directory assists people and physicians in locating services provided by tobacco quitting specialists who can aid those ready to quit smoking, chewing, and/or spitting.
  • The QNNC! website, www.quitnownc.org, is a comprehensive website featuring national and statewide resources and information about quitting tobacco.
